Sillunu oru kaadhal (A Cool Love...)

Note: If you’ve not watched the movie ‘Sillunu oru kaadhal’, scroll down for the short movie-review. You’ll enjoy the article then.

The other day we both were watching 'Sillunu oru kaadhal' in our 29' TV (Ahh.. I know what you’re thinking… Do you think that I’m showing-off about my TV…?? Hmmm…. And… of course, YOU ARE RIGHT!!). Anyway… as the movie went on, we occasionally exchanged looks whenever there was a ‘touching’ scene. Then… the movie got over in an emotional climax & we both were totally engrossed. The way Surya & Jothika hugs each other in tears created a emotional drift in both of us (its only later, I realized the drift was upon me only!!)
I carried the emotional mood in my mind and picked up this conversation with the hope that Neel was also in the same emotional mood (Nay… he hardly becomes emotional!! Go ahead.. You'll know why.)

Deepa: Ammu.. (I call Neel this way, whenever I’m ‘emotionally taken aback’..)

Neel: Hmm… (See.. He sounds emotional too..!! I felt encouraged to continue the conversation.)

Deepa: Shall I ask you something??

Neel: Temme Ammu… (Yeah.. He is also ‘emotionally taken aback’…!!)

Deepa: Did you’ve a love before meeting me?? Do you feel now, that you would want to live with her, just for a day..?? (I think I’ve got a Multiple-personality disorder…!! Somewhere Jothika entered my mind & pulled out this question from my mouth… I asked this with a heavy heart and was eagerly waiting for his reply. But…)

Neel: (Silence…)

Neel didn’t answer for few minutes… My blood started boiling & must’ve hit 102°C!! Did he have a love?? Is he feeling bad to reveal the truth?? Is he feeling bad about my direct question like this?? Too many questions started flying between the corners of my eyes.
He broke the silence and…

Neel: Kala, Girija, Renu, Shyla, Malathi, S______i, A_____a, M__a, R____a, P______n, L____i, M_____e…
(Name list continued with 20 – 25 names, at the rate of one name per alphabet. Thank God for two reasons: 1. English has just 26 alphabets. 2. We don’t speak those languages which has 200+ alphabets. I'm always at your help, if you wanna check out whether your name is in the list, and/or, if you have filled the blanks correctly!)

Neel (giggles..): If I had to stay with my past lovers, just for a day, that would take away one month from you… If it is ok for you, it is ok with me…
(What does this sentence “If it is ok for you, it is ok with me…” mean? You know, he is never interested in staying with them!! He is accepting this deal, only because I offered it... Otherwise, even this thought would not have passed his mind!!)

What do you think my reaction would be…??

My Pillow broke and the cotton stuffed into it started flying in the room… Rest of the guess is yours!!

Real Moral: Never comprehend Neel (any guy for that matter!!) with his reactions… He always pretends!!

Reel Moral: Let what come may… Never beat someone till the pillow breaks. Or, never use a pillow for beating – You’ve better tools to do this job effectively!

Movie review:
An amazing, simple movie with no big punch dialogues, blood-shed & all masalas a regular tamil movie would generally have.

Jothika & Surya marries each other due to compulsive family situations & both were not actually willing for this marriage... Days started rolling & they start understanding each other. Their relationship turns into an unbounded love and living with each other was an immense joy... Their joy results in a cute & naughty girl baby, who is as talkative a Jo. After few years, Jo gets to know that Surya was already married to Boomika, in his college days!! Boomika's dad, being a politician, gets them seperated with his influence. Boomika flies to US & never gets back for years. With great reluctance, Surya marries Jo then. Surya had penned all his feelings for Boomika in his personal diary.. A particular sentence in his diary goes this way: "I dont need to live with Boomika for 100 years... Just a single day is enough & my life would become complete. But I'm denied of that single day..". Jo reads this diary & gets upset.
On a fine day, Boomika comes back to India & gets to know that Surya got married. Jo, out of her love towards Surya, brings Boomika to spend a day with Surya. Becoz, she wants Surya to feel complete.. She leaves home so that the duo has enough privacy. End of the day, Jo comes back home and finds Boomika missing. Boomika leaves a note to Jo telling that Surya is always for Jo, as Surya's heart is now filled with Jo only.. Jo & Surya hugs each other in tears…

From Adangathavan

I just filled the blanks with some of my girl friend’s name.

Unfortunately 4 name matches.!!!

After ensuring that I am not surrounded by pillows and other better tools(as suggested by padma), I will just request my sweet cute wife to talk with padma to get know about those 4 blanks.
