How would a PM (from South India) gets his/her daughter married?

A funny imagination of how a South Indian Project Manager would handle the events in his/her daughter’s marriage!

Note: I’ve italicized those words that denote PM-ish way of talking… Oh… The PM-ish way of talking has already started in me!!

Scene 1: Marriage broker steps in
PM (Father/Mother): I’m looking for a good proposal for my daughter to collaborate with… Do lemme know if you’ve one!

Scene 2: Marriage broker gets a suitable alliance
PM: I’ve a Design Document (Horoscope) in place, highlighting the scope of the proposal. If the client is happy with the Proposed Design (Position of the Planets & Stars), we can have a kick-off meeting (people on the prospective groom's side come and see the girl) in our location…

Scene 3: After the Kick-off Meeting
PM: I hope this collaboration would yield 'successful results' in future. Let’s go ahead and sign the Proposal (Betrothal: Exchange fruits as a token of commitment between both the families) on an amicable date…

Scene 4: Marriage Invitation
DEED OF PARTNERSHIP
THIS DEED of Partnership is made on 9th June 2008 by and between: Shri Ravi aged about 29 years, son of Shri Ramanathan, resident of 26, Ramasamy Street, Pondy (Hereinafter to be called the First Party); Shrimathi Ramya aged about 25 years, daughter of Shri Rajan resident of 44, Ranka Street, Pondy (Hereinafter to be called the Second Party);

AND NOW WHEREAS the parties to this deed, desire that the terms and conditions on which they are about to carry on the above said business in partnership, propose to continue it in the future avoiding difficulties or misunderstanding.

Scene 5: Birth of a Grand Child
PM (Grand Father/Mother) to a friend: I never imagined that my team would submit the deliverables in time, without any delay!! I appreciate both the team members for the successful completion of the project through their co-operation & understanding. ;-)
